"I am so fucking pissed at devart today, the staff is absolutly stupid and awful. Really, thanks to them, dev has gone down the shithole. Why, have you asked? Because, I can't even count how many times I visited someones journal or my friends journal on devart and they're saying how they're beautiful, great work of art got deleted by the staff because it supposidly had a copyright violation when they did not steal it from another artist. The reason why they got a copyright violation because it somehow related to the movies, ie Pirates of the Carribean, Monty Python, Disney, etc. Thats the only reason. Since when has it been ILLIGAL to do something as to just simply draw your favorite person from a movie, or, like me, design something out of a picture from the movie? Never. Its not illegal unless they say that they made the movie or crreated the characters themselves.

And you know what?

I got a copyright violation today.

Now this is completely fucked up. I was so fucking pissed this morning, I did leave a message saying how fucking screwed dev is because of them and how was it a violation of the copyright system as i did not steal it from anyone neither did i claim i owned the characters or movie they were from.

The reply?

"the avatar in question used a photo of harry, ron and hermione. that is why it was removed."

Is that bullshit or what? They continued to say that most of my gallery is under a copyright violation.

I'm so fucking pissed them. The staff is stupid, lazy, good-for-nothing bastards who have nothing better to do then boss others around for absolutley no reason.

I'm really pissed off too. Since when HAS it become illegal to do fanart? Your policy violation is really screwed up, everyone on this site I see pictures from movies, cartoons, stuff that YOU guys say is illegal according to your reply to my sister. If your going to do that to one person then your going to have to do it for everyone!

I'm sorry, but Dev. Art IS down the shithole. Thats why I'm leaving.
